SENIOR PRODUCT LINE MANAGER APPAREL
Athletics Categories (Running, Training, Swim)
REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum bachelor’s Degree in business administration, Sports Management or similar
Long-term experience in directly relevant work
Knowledge of the international sporting goods market, with a focus on the categories Running & Training, additional experience in Swimwear is an advantage
Analytical skills and ability to commercialize industry trends
Leadership skills
Effective communication and negotiation skills
Solution driven and result oriented personality
Open minded and flexible team player with a structured way of working
Positive energy and stress resistance
International travelling
Excellent command of English, both written and spoken
Advanced knowledge of Windows applications and preferably PDM/PLM systems.
DUTIES:
Create product concepts for Running & Training apparel in collaborations with cross-functional teams while managing all tasks within the given timelines
Market research regarding opportunities, product innovations, emerging trends, materials, features and price points
Creating detailed international range plans and manage style and SKU efficiency
Brief designers on direction, range plan, product features and price positioning
respecting development timelines
Initiate and manage product feedback and inputs during the process
Lead and present at the international Advisory Meetings
Present and actively sell the collections to the buyers of the national Organizations at international advisory and sales meetings
Set target prices according to the market needs and follow up with the Development Team
Management of collection data and features in Flex PLM and PIM systems
Cooperation and alignment with Category Management for the execution of common category strategies in Retail
Work closely with Brand Management on workbooks, hangtags, packaging and product information
Participate in and manage special project outside the normal calendar
Lead a team of PLMs/jr. PLMs, develop their skills, follow up on their processes, work together on strategies and alignments for the whole athletics categories.
